All about Search Engine rankings . . .

It's common knowledge that when you are looking for something, or information about a particular subject you begin your search on one of the major Search Engines. GOOGLE is the top-dog in this arena, then Yahoo!, then MSN ... and so on down the line. There are literally thousands of search engines.

What most people don't know is how do you get your name to come up at the top of the search engines?! A few short years ago there were many methods you could employ to "trick" the spiders that crawled the web to gain higher ranking. Now, however, those methods no longer work and will get you banned from the Search Engines completely (it recently happened to BMW). What the search engines "say" they get their rankings from now is content.

So, it's a continual struggle to get top ranking, and . . . these rankings change from day-to-day. My strategy is to include everything relevant about Bend Oregon real estate, investment properties, and relocation information that people from out-of-state will find useful. It's beginning to pay off, as you can see from these actual screen captures (copied from Yahoo! on 4/15/06):

It only matters to you if you are thinking about selling your property and haven't chosen a Realtor to help you. On the previous page, remember I was explaining the difference between "selling" and "marketing" and the 2 things that are most crucial to getting your hose sold in the shortest period of time were: PRICE and EXPOSURE

High Search Engine rankings = MORE EXPOSURE!

People searching for these common terms click on my site up to 3,000 times a month! When they do, and want to see my listings - naturally they would see your house if it were listed with me. Look at the large, full-color pictures I use to market these homes... I don't know of another Realtor that puts up a separate web page like mine for each listing?
