Why Use a Buyer's Agent?

Only a Buyer Broker can GUARANTEE to negotiate on your behalf. As such, my job is to provide the true facts as to value, market/neighborhood conditions, and obvious physical defects. My knowledge of the area and negotiation skills will "level the playing field" when it comes to making your next purchase.

Important Note: Listing Agents (the ones with their sign in the front yard) represent the SELLER - not the buyer! Their job is to get the SELLER the highest price - at the best terms.

Get Your Financing Approved FIRST!

The first step to avoid paying too much for a home is to know what price you can afford. The best way to know for sure is to get pre-approved in writing by a lender- such as a bank, credit union or mortgage banker.

Mortgage brokers can arrange such pre-approvals, but don't be fooled by a mortgage broker's "pre-qualification letter," which means absolutely nothing. Only after you have a letter of "Pre-approval" from a lender will you know for sure what price property you can afford to buy. That letter also "locks in" your interest rate - guaranteeing you the lowest possible rate.

In Central Oregon there are hundreds of Mortgage Brokers, but here's the most important thing to remember . . . choose a company and/or individual you know and trust. I would be happy to provide a list of several lenders that I have had personal experience with.
